It is finally here! The Rotary Kitchen at the GOC is complete. So many people had a hand in this effort. Our Members moved back in, and we had our first full meal cooked in the new ovens. Look at this beautiful space! It will help us feed more people, and it will help our Members build important skills, which will help them in their lives. It takes a community to make a community, and, wow, do we have a great community! Thank you to everyone involved! Look at this beautiful room! On top of the Rotary contribution, the floors were donated by Colortile Floors, which is a Rotary connection. The new kitchen is amazing! Members pay $1 for lunch. This allows people to take responsibility for themselves and their spending. Members helped us move back in. Look at the beautiful snack bar area! We have a snack bar area in the dining room. Terrica and Mia are working together on rolling silverware. Rotarians like Ryan Thompson and Patrick Irby helped. Dalton Baker and his lovely wife, Amy, are with Deidra Simon, our Executive Director. Dustin from Quality Plumbing is now an old friend. I can’t count the hours he spent here. Thank you, Quality Plumbing, for donating your time and energy! An industrial freezer and refrigerator are here next to the new ice machine. Look at how much room we have! The room isn’t even full. Thank you, everyone!
