Isn’t it great when people truly believe in you?
Thank you to Board Members Manny and Mercy Quiroga, along with GOC Ambassador Gail Childs and her husband Bill.
They transformed our workspace by donating materials, time, and construction expertise. Previously, sitting at the reception desk meant you couldn’t see over the wall, which made it hard to greet people.
We want the GOC to be warm and welcoming. Our Board believes in what we do so much that they came in over the weekend and did the work themselves.
We are grateful to have such strong support for our mission. Thank you all for making the GOC even better.

Top photo: Manny and Mercy Quiroga on the right, Gail and Bill Childs on the left. You can see how much height they took down. What a mess!!!! Fortunately, they even cleaned it up. This is before. You could barely see people like Sheriff Chad Scott walk in for a visit. Some people even have to tip-toe to see over the wall. Tearing down walls is a core part of what we do at the GOC; we certainly don’t want one at the front desk. Clubhouse International Standards emphasize that a space must be designed to be open, attractive, and free of institutional barriers. This wonderful renovation aligns perfectly with our Clubhouse atmosphere: professional, welcoming, and friendly.
