The GOC’s Executive Director, Margie Foster, and a Member, Kayla, visited Grace Marketplace this week and met for two hours with its team of case managers, which included a tour of Grace’s campus. In the process, we met many of Grace’s awesome staff, volunteers, and residents (and their pets including a batch of eight adorable puppies!)! Just like the GOC Clubhouse, Grace Marketplace offers its residents a gardening program, an opportunity to engage in culinary activities (they cook and serve meals to 200+ people daily), and support to find employment. The case managers at Grace Marketplace understand the GOC’s membership needs and they will be collaborating with our GOC’s staff to make referrals for residents who can benefit the most from the GOC’s work-ordered day program. Likewise, Grace may be setting up an information table at our upcoming Fifth Annual Fall Festival on Nov 7th from 11AM to 5PM.
