It was great to see our friends from Lutheran Services Florida who came for a visit. LSF is one of our funding sources and they provide tremendous help to GOC and other mental health services in our community. Nancy Baez and Lesley Hersey play a vital role in our community as they travel and evaluate community needs. This process helps make sure tax-payer dollars are distributed efficiently.

It was great to see some of our support team from LSF. Kyana gave Lesley and Nancy a tour. Our Members are involved in every part of the Clubhouse. Wow!!! Look at this delicious breakfast staff and Members made together. Bacon, eggs, grits and hashbrowns. Just like mom used to make. Though we open at 8:30, Alina came in at the crack of dawn to help put the breakfast together. Though our job is to help our Members, in reality, we need them to help us. Feeling appreciated is something missing in many people’s lives. It is always great to see our Members helping.
