We just had our monthly Employment Dinner. We believe employment is the gateway to independence, and a significant part of our program involves work support. GOC Members not only benefit from our Employment Dinners, but they help design them. Carrie and Keyana helped design and present our topic. Other members helped plan the menu, cook the food, and clean up. As part of our service, Members take responsibility for themselves, the GOC, and their fellow Members. Keyana and Carrie worked with Paul to design the presentation. Then they presented, taking this very seriously. We had a delicious beef pot pie the Members made from scratch. Deborah and Zennie said the food was delicious. We had smiles all around. Thank you to everyone who participated. Our community effort helps to make Clubhouse great.
