Our Members attended a job fair hosted by One Community Family Resource Center to explore opportunities for reentering the job market.

Employment is the gateway to independence. That’s why one of our key functions at the Gainesville Opportunity Center is to help Members get back to work and support them in their jobs. At the fair, we spoke directly with employers, learned how to apply for jobs, and shared how the GOC can support customized placements for individuals who may need accommodations.

Events like this help our Members build confidence, practice self-advocacy, and connect with real opportunities—because recovery is stronger when it includes a path back to purpose and community.
