A Typical Day at the GOC

There is always something happening at the Gainesville Opportunity Center—and our Members are at the heart of it all.

In the kitchen, Members are working together to prepare a delicious lunch and keep our kitchen clean and ready for the next meal.

At reception, Tom and Dominic welcome Members and guests, answer the phones, and help keep the day running smoothly.

And in our Business Unit, Kiana, Susan, and Christina are entering data and handling important information that supports our grants and other responsibilities.

This is what the Clubhouse model looks like in action. Members aren’t just coming to the GOC to receive services. They are needed, they contribute, and they help run the GOC every day.
