GOC Staff and Members spent the day volunteering with the Rotary Foundation of Gainesville to help prepare for their upcoming 41st Annual Wild Game Feast. As a past beneficiary of this incredible event, we were honored to give back and support this year’s proceeds, which will benefit the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo.
With about 2,000 people expected to attend, this was a fantastic opportunity for our Members to work side-by-side with community leaders. Our primary goal at the GOC is to help our Members break the cycle of isolation and rejoin the community in meaningful ways.
There is something powerful about working together toward a common goal—it reminds us all that we are an essential part of the Gainesville community. We are proud of our Members for their hard work and for helping make our community a better, more inclusive place for everyone!
