On Fridays, GOC staff and Members are present at UF Health Psychiatry – Springhill for ‘office sits.’ We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside resident and attending doctors to meet directly with patients. Our goal is to introduce them to the supportive community here at the Gainesville Opportunity Center and invite them into our program.

The most powerful part? Having our GOC Members involved. When UF patients see our Members and hear their stories, they don’t just see a program — they see proof that recovery is possible and that there is real hope. This is “recovery through work” and peer support in action.
