The GOC crew was out in full force this weekend for the Miles for Meridian 5k!

For us, Meridian isn’t just a partner—they are the clinical backbone that allows our members to focus on their growth here at the Clubhouse. While we provide the community and the “work-ordered day,” Meridian provides the essential healthcare that makes long-term recovery possible.

Supporting this race means supporting a full circle of care for our neighbors living with mental illness. From primary care to social empowerment, we are transforming Gainesville from the inside out.

Most of the crew was out there at 6:45am. Members like Ella and our Board Member Joanne Edde received medals for completing the run. Meridian’s Alan Paulin is with GOC Member Rose Ann Walker. Board Chair Mercy Quiroga is with Brett Buell, Rose Ann Walker and Meridian CEO Lauren Cohen. Our Members like to show how much the GOC has impacted their lives. It is important to them. Brett is with Amanda Smith of IQ Fiber. We are so sad to learn Amanda is moving to Delaware. She has been involved with many community programs like Meridian and the GOC.
