Thank you, GOC Board President Gail Childs, for nominating the Gainesville Opportunity Center as the September 2023 Charity of the Month in our community. As a board member and volunteer with the GOC for the past seven years she has seen the amazing transformation of lives. We work side by side with adults living with chronic mental illness in reducing isolation, rejoining the community and finding jobs using the Clubhouse International model.
